Wyo Network Assessments
2020 Network Assessment
Every five (5) years, the AQD performs a statewide assessment of its ambient air monitoring network as required by Title 40, Part 58.10(d) of the Code of Federal Regulations. The Network Assessment uses historical monitoring data, emissions, meteorological data, and topographic data to perform a comprehensive review to determine: the current status of the monitoring network, where additional monitoring could be beneficial, and where monitoring could justifiably be removed pending the AQD’s evaluation of its internal resources and priorities. This page allows the public and other affected stakeholders (e.g., Federal Land Managers, local governments, industry, non-governmental organizations, etc.) with the opportunity to review and provide input on the Network Assessment.
The AQD is releasing its 2020 5-year Ambient Monitoring Network Assessment for a thirty (30) day period of public comment beginning Friday, May 15 and ending on Monday, June 15. All comments must be received by the close of business on Monday, June 15, 2020. Comments will be submitted to EPA Region 8 along with the plan and will be retained on file in the Cheyenne office.
