High Plains and McFadden Ridge Wind Energy Project
On July 8, 2008, PacifiCorp Energy filed an Application for a Permit to construct and operate its High Plains & McFadden Ridge Wind Energy Project near Rock River in Albany and Carbon counties. This project was constructed in phases with the first two phases being completed in 2010. The entire project consists of up to 125 towers and requires a maximum workforce of 277. The facility is in operation and the initiation of construction for Phase III is anticipated in the second quarter of 2019. Construction is expected to last approximately 19 months. 08-02.
