Genesis Alkali Wyoming Corporation - Granger Optimization Project

In August 2012, FMC Wyoming filed its application for a permit to add equipment and features to its Granger facility that would increase its production of soda ash. The project is called the FMC Granger Optimization Project.  Construction would begin in the second quarter of 2016, continue for 26 months, employ a maximum of about 310 construction workers and add about 26 operations workers.  Construction would occur at the existing plant location and adjacent mine lands which are 26 miles west of Green River.  The Industrial Siting Council issued a permit for the project on December 6, 2012. The permit transferred to Tronox Alkali Wyoming Corporation on April 27, 2016. The permit transferred to Genesis Alkali Wyoming, LP on December 21, 2017. 12-02
