Reminder: Laramie County Oil and Gas Development Seminar

Cheyenne, Wyo – On Thursday January 8, 2015, an open house and presentation seminar will be held in Cheyenne, WY to discuss state and local agency oversight for the oil and gas development in Laramie County.

The Wyoming Oil and Gas Conservation Commission, the Wyoming Department of
Environmental Quality, Petroleum Association of Wyoming, the Wyoming Game
and Fish, the Wyoming State Engineers Office, and County Commissioner Troy Thompson will all discuss the agency’s roles and answer questions from the public. Also on hand will be representatives from the Wyoming Pipeline Authority, Wyoming Department of Transportation, Wyoming Water Development Commission, EOG Resources, Cirque Resources, and Anadarko Petroleum Corporation.

The meeting starts at 5:30 PM with an open house at the Laramie County School District #1 Storey Auditorium, 2810 House Avenue in Cheyenne. Presentations will begin at 6:00 PM until 8:30 PM. The public is encouraged to attend and will be given an opportunity to comment.
