DEQ Compliance Advisory Panel to Meet

Gillette, WY –The Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) Small Business Compliance Advisory Panel (CAP) will meet in Gillette, WY on Wednesday, June 15, 2016.

The panel will be discussing upcoming Air Quality and Industrial Siting Rules. The group will also be voting on the Environmental Stewardship Award Winner for the 2nd Quarter of 2016.

“I’m pleased to see the panel meet again.  At such a vital point for our state and its economy, it’s important to hear the voices of the small business community,” said Landon Brown, DEQ Pollution Prevention Coordinator.  “I look forward to the CAP’s decision on the Environmental Stewardship Award as it will be the first time they will have the determination of the company chosen for this award.”

The public is invited to participate on this issue, as well as on any other environmental issues affecting small businesses in Wyoming. The meeting will begin at 9:00 AM at the George Amos Memorial Building, 412 South Gillette Avenue.
