Compliance Advisory Panel to meet

On Wednesday, March 28, the Wyoming Compliance Advisory Panel (CAP) will be meeting at the Wyoming  Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) office in Cheyenne.

The CAP meets quarterly to discuss environmental impacts and regulations as they relate to small businesses.  The panel also nominates and selects small businesses that reduce environmental impacts of conducting business on a voluntary basis through the use of Pollution Prevention (P2) practices.   “We enjoy meeting with CAP members and discussing our opportunities as a state to improve our relationships with small businesses and recognize those that are able to reduce their environmental impacts voluntarily,” said Landon Brown P2 Coordinator. “DEQ strive’s to work with small businesses and recognize their importance to our state and communities.”

Topics for discussion include the nomination and selection of the Environmental Stewardship Program Quarterly Winner, future of the CAP program, Air Quality Division rule updates, and Regional CAP development.

The meeting will begin at 9:00 AM at 200 West 17th Street, Room 210. Members of the public are welcome to attend.
