Animal Mortality Composting
Date:   June 10, 2026              
Location: Thermopolis, WY
Discussion and instruction on the basics of how to successfully compost whole animals, offal, or viscera, and permitting requirements, if applicable. For in-person attendees there will be a hands-on field demonstration.

What to Expect When You’re Inspected
Date:   October 7, 2026          
Location: Thyra Thomson State Office Building Casper, WY
Solid and Hazardous Waste Division Inspection and Compliance Program will give an overview about what to expect when your facility is inspected for compliance with the Solid Waste Management Rules. Virtual option available.

Asbestos Management
Date:   November 18, 2026    
Location: Thyra Thomson State Office Building Casper, WY
The Air Quality Division, Asbestos Program along with the Solid and Hazardous Waste Division’s Inspection and Compliance and Solid Waste Permitting and Corrective Action Programs will provide a joint review of asbestos identification recommendations, proper management and disposal of asbestos, and how to make sure that asbestos removal operations and the receiving disposal facility are in compliance with the applicable rules and regulations for asbestos disposal. Virtual option available.
