AML to host meeting in Reliance

Reliance, Wyo – On April 12, 2016, the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ), Abandoned Mine Land Division (AML) will be hosting a public meeting to present recent data collected and upcoming mine subsidence projects in and around the Reliance community. The meeting will start at 6:00 PM at the Reliance Library, 1329 Main Street.

This work is a continuation of the drilling and grouting project initiated in Reliance in2015.  At the meeting the following items will be discussed:

  • Ongoing Drilling and grouting along the Reliance Road
  • Results of the recent drilling program in eastern Reliance and additional plans for 2016
  • The 2016 bidding process for drilling and grouting in eastern Reliance
  • Plans going forward

Ample time will be allowed for questions.

AML staff, consultants, and contractors will be present including; the Contractor, Nucor, Inc., and the Project Manager and Engineers, BRS, Inc., Wilbert Engineering, and Western Engineers & Geologists.
