Open Air Training

In the fall of 2018, the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ), Air Quality Division (AQD) launched Open Air, which can be accessed at: https://openair.wyo.gov.  Open Air provides the public with access to data, public records, and other information about Division-permitted facilities.

Open Air, which is part of the IMPACT data system, was designed to allow the Air Quality Division to expand services to industry and the public, improve data quality and accessibility, and offer increased transparency of information between the Division, industry, and the public.

To assist the public in navigating and obtaining information from Open Air, the AQD will be hosting three training sessions across the state this summer. These training events are designed to show the public how to navigate Open Air, search for facilities, and access permit, application, emission inventory, stack test, and compliance report information. The trainings are designed to be interactive, so participants are encouraged to bring electronic devices, like laptops or tablets.
