Public Meeting Notice SRF Loan increase for Sheridan Landfill project

The City of Sheridan, Wyoming, will conduct a public meeting at 12:00 PM, local time, on February 24, 2022, in the City Council Chambers on the 3rd floor of City Hall. The purpose of the meeting is to allow citizens to review and comment on the following project: Landfill Cell Closure and Capping of Cells T7, T8, andT1 through T6.  The capping of cells T1through T6 is defined as a “corrective measure” resulting from the findings of the Nature and Extent Study recently concluded for our landfill, under the State’s Landfill Remediation Program. This work has started in order to meet obligations under the agreement with the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality (WDEQ).  This agreement allowed the City to enter into the State of Wyoming’s Landfill Remediation Program.
