The Air Quality Division has attached the Change of Ownership Forms for Minor Sources and Title V Facilities below for your convenience. These forms need to be completed and mailed to the following address:

It is important to submit completed ownership changes in a timely manner as IMPACT portal users will not have access to newly-acquired facilities until the completed forms are received and processed.

The Air Quality Monitoring Section ensures the ambient air quality in Wyoming is maintained in accordance with the National Ambient Air Quality Standards. To carry out this goal, we operate and maintain a network of ambient air quality monitors and require industrial pollution sources to conduct source specific ambient air monitoring.
All ambient air quality data collected by the AQD is loaded into the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Air Quality System database. Data is typically available within 90 days of the end of each calendar year’s quarter.
Gaseous Pollutant and Scenic Monitoring
Gaseous pollutant, meteorological, and scenic monitoring information can be viewed on the Wyoming Air Quality Monitoring Network. Quarterly and annual monitoring station reports can be accessed via the AQD’s Open Air Web Resource. Visitors to WyVisNet can access daily summary graphs of station data from the Historical Data Concentration located at the bottom of the webpage for each monitoring station. Validated data can be requested by submitting a records request.

Companies can submit their quarterly and annual Ambient Air Quality Monitoring Reports through the IMPACT system. Quarterly reports are due 60 days after the end of each quarter. To submit data for monitoring study purposes, please click here.

Every year, the Air Quality Division (AQD) develops an Annual Network Plan for the State’s ambient monitoring network as required by Title 40, Part 58.10 of the Code of Federal Regulations. This page allows the public and other affected stakeholders (e.g., Federal Land Managers, local governments, industry, non-governmental organizations, etc.) with the opportunity to review and provide input on these plans.

There are occasional instances where a natural and exceptional occurring event impacts monitoring, causing a reading that is in exceedance with the National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS). This is called an Exceptional Event.
In the case that this occurs, the Final “Treatment of Data Influenced by Exceptional Events” Rule (40 CFR 50.14) allows the state to request a data flag and justify the flag by submitting documentation showing that NAAQS exceedance would not have occurred in the absence of a natural/exceptional event.

Every five (5) years, the AQD performs a statewide assessment of its ambient air monitoring network as required by Title 40, Part 58.10(d) of the Code of Federal Regulations. The Network Assessment uses historical monitoring data, emissions, meteorological data and topographic data to perform a comprehensive review to determine: the current status of the monitoring network, where additional monitoring could be beneficial and where monitoring could justifiably be removed pending the AQD’s evaluation of its internal resources and priorities. This page allows the public and other affected stakeholders (e.g., Federal Land Managers, local governments, industry, non-governmental organizations, etc.) with the opportunity to review and provide input on the Network Assessment.
