Small Business Compliance Advisory Panel to meet in Cheyenne

Cheyenne, WY –The Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) Small Business Compliance Advisory Panel (CAP) will meet in Cheyenne, WY on January 23, 2018.

The panel will be meeting to discuss the future of the Environmental Stewardship Program (ESA) as well as the future goals of the CAP.  In addition, the panel will be choosing the 4th Quarter 2017 ESA winner.

“Our ESA award and Program has become a state-wide initiative to recognize those businesses that are making voluntary efforts to reduce their environmental impacts,” said Landon Brown, DEQ Pollution Prevention Program Coordinator. “Interest in this program has been gaining and we want to make sure our efforts are in line with the CAP’s wishes.”

The public is invited to participate on this issue, as well as on any other environmental issues affecting small businesses in Wyoming.
