Wyoming DEQ’s Leif Paulson Presents at NASA Health and Air Quality Applied Sciences Team Public Meeting

DEQ Leif Paulson Presents at HAQAST Meeting in Massachusetts

Leif Paulson, Air Quality Natural Resources Program Supervisor with the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality – Air Quality Division presented at the Health and Air Quality Applied Sciences Team (HAQAST) at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, Massachusetts recently.

HASQAST works to connect NASA satellite data and products with public health experts and air quality managers.  The meetings provide a platform to promote these two-way dialogues while allowing stakeholders to share their research needs and priorities, and scientists to share their resources, insights, and new discoveries.  This particular meeting focused on the satellite data and its applications.

Paulson’s presentation discussed how satellite data can inform fires, exceptional event demonstrations and new standards.  You can watch the presentation (#3B) by going to https://haqast.org/haqast-massachusetts/#VirtualFlashTalks
