Amber Potts serves as the Administrator of the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality’s Air Quality Division. With 26 years of experience at DEQ, Amber brings strong leadership skills along with regulatory, technical, and managerial expertise to the role.
Throughout her career, she has worked in both the Solid & Hazardous Waste Division and the Air Quality Division, holding key positions in New Source Review permitting, air quality monitoring, and most recently serving as Air Quality Resource Manager. Amber is recognized for her commitment to air quality planning, monitoring, permitting, and policy implementation. She is dedicated to advancing the Division’s mission to protect, conserve, and enhance the quality of Wyoming’s environment.
