State Revolving Loan Fund

State Revolving Loan Fund

The Wyoming State Revolving Funds Program (SRF) consists of two separate loan funds that assist public entities with funding for water or wastewater infrastructure improvement projects. Our team assists public entities with loan application process for the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund and/or the Clean Water State Revolving Fund.

About the Loans

SRF loans are normally at 2.5% interest with terms up to 20 years. SRF loans may be at even lower interest rates and/or include forgiveness of a portion of the principal.

SRF loans do not require any matching funds and can even serve as matching funds for various grant programs such as Mineral Royalty Grants and the Wyoming Water Development Commission.

The different funds

The Drinking Water State Revolving Fund is for drinking water systems, including source, treatment plant, storage tank, and transmission and distribution line projects.  Public entities using drinking water revolving loan monies must meet Capacity Development requirements.

The Clean Water State Revolving Fund is for sanitary sewer treatment and collection, storm water control, landfill water pollution control, and other water pollution control projects.
